about

There is a creek that I pass everyday when I leave my neighborhood. I pass over it again in the afternoon
when I return home. Day after day I gaze at this flowing creek. My mind drifts to the origin of this creek. It
runs throughout the city in which I live. I know this body of running water was here before the homes and
shops that have sprung up through out the years. I am certain it will be there long after we are gone. This
e.p. represents this creek and the different thoughts it has put in my head over the years. Part I is comprised
of field recordings slowed down and processed with various effects. This represents nature untouched by
man. Fast forward to part IV, this drone track consist of very distorted-tuned down guitars. When there is a
yin there is a yang. This track represents nature corrupted by man. The tracks in between mostly noisy and
experimental represent the slow degradation of nature. Enjoy. -John
